Batik Art I
From this ancient traditional art of printing fabric with dyes and a wax resist, we will create some easy simple designs, following an intricate process to produce some fabric art pieces to take home.
Creative Writing I
Over a six-week creative writing course, we gathered together to explore the theme of movement through poetry and short stories.
Creative Writing II
Lengthening and constricting, rushing and lingering - our experience of time changes throughout our lives.
Creative Writing III
This series of workshops used poetry by eminent female writers as the principal source of inspiration for creating new writing exploring femininity.
Divine Feminine
These sessions covered a lot of inner work, through meditation, becoming more still, regaining calm and balance. It was an inner exploration talking into the power of the feminine aspect which is present in all.
Feminine Voices
Throughout this six-week drama course, we developed original devised performances from the theme of Feminine Voices. Through ensemble work, movement, and vocal technique, we used the poetry of Syliva Plath, Sarojini Naidu, Amrita Pritam, and Maya Angelou as a jumping off point for finding our own unique voices onstage.
